The Truffle Manufactory GmbH produces high-quality truffle specialties and gourmet food products for discerning customers.


The product range includes, among other things:

The company consistently focuses on the highest quality and uses exceptionally high truffle content (15%!) in its products. While many competitors work with minimal amounts of truffles, the truffle manufacturer prioritizes quality, taste, and premium ingredients.

The challenge

Prior to the investment in 2018, a large part of the production was done manually.


Before automation, the product was handled manually multiple times during manufacturing and filling. Each additional manual intervention not only meant more work but also a higher risk of hygiene problems. At the same time, production was increasingly reaching its capacity limits.


The biggest challenge was finding a solution that could process not just a single product, but the company's entire product range. From truffle butter and pesto to sauces and compotes, a wide variety of products needed to be processed on one system.


As Alexander Keck, the managing director of the truffle manufactory, describes:

The solution

Together with Machines4FoodIndustry and Marba Sp. z oo, a custom-developed production solution was implemented, precisely tailored to the requirements of the truffle manufactory.


The focus was on maximum flexibility. The system was designed to process not only different products, but also various packaging sizes and formats. Even small jars could be accommodated within the project and successfully integrated at short notice.


Automation has eliminated numerous manual work steps and made processes significantly more efficient.


It was particularly important to the customer that the requirements were thoroughly understood in advance and then implemented exactly.

Significantly improved process hygiene

Automation has eliminated numerous manual interventions in the production process. The product is now handled by employees far less frequently, significantly improving hygiene and process reliability.


300% higher productivity

Production output was tripled compared to the original situation.

With fewer employees, significantly more is produced today than before the investment.

Before automation, at least four employees were required.

Today, production is operated with three employees.

At the same time, the production volume was massively increased.
